OBSBOT Meet 2 vs the new Meet SE
Comparing the OBSBOT Meet 2 to the newly announced Meet SE camera? Find the specifications comparison below to help you decide between the two.
Resolution
The resolution is the key difference between the Meet 2 and Meet SE cameras. While the Meet 2 is capable of 1080p at 60fps, it also has 4k capability at 30fps. Alternatively, the more compact Meet SE can do up to 1080 at 100fps and 720 at 150fps.
While it still has full HD, the difference is clear for anyone looking to stream at higher resolutions and needing the clarify the 4K resolution provides.
CMOS Sensor and Dual Native ISO Sensor
With a larger CMOS sensor than the Meet 2, the Meet SE has exceptional image quality even in low light. The Meet SE also has a Dual Native ISO Sensor to help it to cope in challenging lighting conditions, which the Meet 2 doesn't have.
Even though the resolution is lower, you won't have to compromise on the overall quality of your picture.
Auto Focus vs PDAF
The Meet 2 boasts the addition of Phase Detection Auto Focus, which means that the camera can accurately refocus the shot frame by frame to ensure that even if you're moving within the shot, that you'll be clear in the frame.
The Meet SE has auto-focus, and will focus on your as you move in the frame, however it won't be as crisp and clear as on the Meet 2.
Gesture Control and AI Tracking
Much like the other camera's in OBSBOT's impressive collection, the Meet SE, despite it's affordable price point and super compact design, also has the important Gesture Control features as well as the AI movement tracking capabilities.
2 vs SE
If you're looking for a more budget-friendly model and you're happy with HD resolution, the new SE model is a great option for you with it's high end features despite it's lower price point. If you're after a compact camera that can handle 4K and has more advanced auto focus features, then the Meet 2 is your best bet.
