Our NEW Website: What You Need To Know!

Welcome to the NEW EssentialPhoto website! As previously mentioned, there aren't any drastic changes in terms of the look of the website or the way it works at it's core, but there are a lot of new features that will be very handy for the regular shopper, plus some things you'll need to know before you start shopping.

Here's some of them:

• Rewards System

We've kept this one under wraps as a surprise - we will now be offering rewards points for each purchase, sign up and referral! £1 spent = 10 points, 300 points = £1 to spend, and you get 250 points just for creating your new account! Find out more in this blog here.

• Improved filter/search function

Not only do you now get previews of recommended products when you search for an item, you can also now filter a search page to your liking! This means you can filter for brand, price, category, camera compatiblity and stock levels. It's a much smoother system than before and it's now much easier to find what you need. 

• Search for blogs!

You can now also search for blogs by title and content! By using the same search bar, searching for "CITI600" will give you previews of recommended products, but it will also now give you a list of blogs to the right of these products that feature or focus on the CITI600! Handy, right?

• VAT Invoices

Another handy feature is how VAT invoices are handled. Instead of having to manually request one from our team each time they're needed, they will be much easier to access. More info on this to come!

• Emails

Our email system is also being updated, and will hopefully mean sleeker and more user friendly and mobile friendly email formats. Sign up if you're interested and you may receive an exclusive discount!

Besides all this, there are a lot of small quality of life updates including making sure the website runs faster than the old one. But, is there anything you need to know while the new website goes live?

Accounts

Your old account on the old website WILL NOT be transferred to the new website unfortunately. You will have to set up a new account when it goes live on Thursday to make sure you can store all your orders on the one account. Plus, don't forget that signing up gets you 250 points added to your account automatically towards our new rewards system!
