Rewards Points are Changing on 1st February
Our rewards points system is changing from 1st February 2025. Read below to find out how this affects you and your existing rewards.
Points Value
While you continue to earn 10 points per £1 spent online, the exchange rate of these has changed. This means that per 500 points earned, you will have £1 to spend. This also means you will now have to redeem your points in 500 point intervals. e.g. 500, 1000, 1500.
Earned rewards points retain their 6-month expiry, however, customers can now redeem a maximum of £50 worth of points (25,000) points at any one time. If you have more points than this, these can be kept to be used on a different (eligible) order. This is a recent change already in effect.
The minimum order value that you can now use a rewards code on is £75. This means that your basket must total £75 or over before shipping and not including warranties and gift cards for you to be able to apply a code generated by our rewards centre.
Referrals
We're improving referrals to make it more beneficial for you to refer your friends to us!
The discount minimum spend is now lower and now only requires a basket of £75 in value or more for you to apply the referral code.
Plus, we have now raised the rewards for the original customer who has referred their friend to 2,500 for a total of £5 in points per referral.
When?
Most of these changes are coming into effect from 1st February 2025.
Please note that if you have any outstanding rewards points on your account that the value of these will change from this date in line with our updated system. Any existing pre-redeemed rewards codes will retain their original value.
E.g, if you currently have 1,500 points, these will change from a value of £5, to a value of £3. We will not be able to retroactively change or edit your rewards value or orders placed after this date.
All other rewards points terms and conditions apply as normal. Visit our T&Cs page, section 19 for more information. Or, for any other queries, email our team at info@essentialphoto.co.uk.
