Which Godox App Do I Need?
As Godox's lighting range grows, so does their range of Apps! Now compatible with a huge range of the Godox lighting collection, the different Godox apps are built for different purposes and control types. Check below if you're not sure which app is best for you to use.
Godox Flash
Godox Flash is to have versatility, adaptability, and simplicity built-in. It delivers efficient and flexible workflows, remarkable work experiences and high-efficient shooting. A simple and smooth era of digital control is truly upon users.
App for: Flash Photography!
Compatible with: Godox and PiXAPRO Flash Triggers with Bluetooth Compatibility (See: X2T (ST-III+), XPro II (ST-IV+))
Allows you to: Control your trigger from your phone! Change your transmitter settings remotely and test fire your lights. (You cannot shoot from the App - this requires the camera trigger to be pressed)

Godox Light
Godox Light can be used to wirelessly control Godox LED lighting via bluetooth. Offering full control over power, brightness, color temperature, and RGB values for compatible LED lights. The app lets you put lights into groups so you can control lights individually or as part of a group.

Compatible with: A wide range of Godox LED Lights with bluetooth compatibility (See: SL and UL range, TL RGB Tubes, Litemons Range, KNOWLED Range and more!
Allows you to: Control power, brightness, colour temperature (if Bi-Colour), colour (if RGB), special effects.

The Godox KNOWLED App is especially designed for tablets, for efficient and professional LED Lighting control on large-scale sets. This app transforms your tablet into a powerful control console that enables you to manage DMX-Compatible LED Lighting units, no matter what brand! With an exclusive lighting layout interface, this app allows you to create a set map with your lights so you know exactly what you're changing settings on.
App for: LED Lighting Control - for Photography or Videography!
Compatible with: Godox KNOWLED and other brand Lighting with built in CRMX, or with Godox and other branded lighting by using TimoLink RX. Pair either option with a TimoLink TRX to communicate with the app.
Allows you to: Control your lighting setup using DMX-style fader controls to change colour, brightness, effects, power and more. Create a lighting layout grid to replicate your setup.

Godox Audio
Users can set the lighting effects of the microphone as they like through the APP. The microphone's unique 7 colours and 5 lighting effect modes can be used by the microphone to perceive the anchor's voice, present different colours and rhythm changes, so as to achieve the dual enjoyment of vision and hearing.

Allows you to: Control your RGB lighting effects on your Godox Microphone (doesn't control microphone audio settings)

Godox Photo
The Godox Photo app was the original Godox app for lighting available on app stores, that would connect with triggers to control your lights. Though you still may be able to find this app, it is no longer supported by Godox, and is now outdated by the new Godox Flash app for your flash control needs. The newer versions of the Godox apps will be compatible with newer Godox lighting and trigger models.
