# Difference 1: RGB Spotlight Type

The Godox M600R and Aputure LS600C Pro both use RGBWW LED technology, including red, green, blue and warm white. This LED configuration offers a wide range of colour options and enhanced colour accuracy, making it ideal for professional-grade visual storytelling. Simultaneously, the inclusion of white LEDs also ensures versatility in lighting scenarios, allowing users to produce more natural-looking skin tones for characters.

One standout feature of the Godox M600R RGB spotlight is its built-in various colour gel profiles, providing users with access to a vast spectrum of colours without the need for physical gels. This versatility enables filmmakers to experiment with different lighting effects and create eye-catching imagery with ease.

In contrast, the Nanlux Evoke 900C employs RGBACL LED technology, which includes red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime LEDs, enabling precise colour manipulation and greater flexibility in achieving specific lighting effects.

Despite this, the M600R remains a valuable for filmmaking, as these lights help to enhance the appearance of skin tones thanks to it's Green/Magenta shift settings, which can be utilised to colour correct the lighting and reduce the post-production colour correction grading needed.

When compared, the Nanlux Evoke 900C offers the highest brightness and output, making it suitable for large-scale productions. In contrast, the M600R and LS600C Pro provide better energy efficiency compared to the Evoke 900C. Thus, these lights are likely suitable for various shooting scenarios, offering reliable performance without excessive power usage. However, the Godox M600R stands out for its exceptional colour brightness, delivering a performance that significantly exceeds its competitor’s LS600C Pro by at least 200% at the same power level.

# Difference 3: CRI and TLCI

The Evoke 900C stands out with its broad adjustable colour temperature range from 1800K to 20000K, coupled with plus, minus, green and magenta adaptations of 200, allowing users to flexibility adjust the colour to match their needs. It extends further into the cooler and warmer ends of the spectrum, while 151 gel modes in colour mode allow for precise customisation. This functionality is suitable for highly specialised or creative lighting setups.

Similar to the CRI and TCLI of 96 with Evoke 900C, the Godox M600R RGB spotlight provides a more narrow colour temperature range from 1800K to 10000K. This range still covers a wide spectrum of colour temperatures, from warm, candlelight hues to cool, daylight tones, which is well-suited for various shooting conditions, including outdoor and indoor environments.

The LS600C Pro, on the other hand, offers the least colour temperature range than the two lights above. With the 2,300K to 10,000K colour temperature range and the CRI/TLCI of 95/98, the LS600C Pro offers a balanced blend of warmth and coolness, suitable for general lighting applications, but less control.

# Difference 5: Mounting

Both the Godox M600R and Aputure LS600C Pro are equipped with a Bowens mount, which is a widely used mounting system in the photography and videography industry. This compatibility with a wide range of third-party modifiers and accessories and means you can easily integrate these lights into existing lighting setups and utilise a variety of modifiers such as softboxes, beauty dishes, etc. This result makes these RGB spotlights the cost-effective options for users to expand their lighting kit without breaking the bank.

Otherwise, as with the other versions of the Evoke, Nanlux Evoke 900C lights feature an NL mount feature, made exclusively by Nanlux, which means it wouldn't be compatible with a wide range of modifiers on the market.
