Where is my Serial Number?

Looking for your serial number for returns and warranty cases?

Your serial number will always be present on either the box of the item you bought, or on the unit itself. Sometimes, this will be a QR code or barcode. If we've requested your serial number, you can either send this across as text, or if easier, you can send an image of this for our team.

Sometimes, serial numbers that are a long number will start with the year they were manufactured, such as "23" or "24". This might help you to identify it.

Please note: Providing the serial number is mandatory for warranty cases to help our team track the batch your faulty equipment came from, and report it back to manufacturers. Keeping this serial on record also means that our team are able to keep track of this when it's returned to us. Failure to provide a serial number for the affected unit will mean that your equipment will not be covered by our warranty policy, even if you have your order number and details.

We advise to keep hold of any boxes with serial numbers on them after purchase to ensure your unit will be covered in the case of any fault during the warranty period.

Lighting Units

Often, especially for large lighting units like LED or Flash heads, the serial can be found on or near the main model information sticker. On the SK300 (above), for example, the serial can be found in a unique sticker with a QR code.

Sometimes, similar products can have different serial types. These two LED wands are from the same range, but different models may have engraved vs QR code serial numbers. Check by the handle of these products for serial info. The serial on the left has a "24" at the beginning.

Serial on Box

Sometimes, you can find the serial numbers on the box. Any barcode serials will likely be a separate sticker on the box starting in a year number.

Batteries

Batteries will often have a serial engraved onto them, and it may be shorter than serials found on the light units.

Batteries will only have serials on them if they have been sold separately, such as a spare on their own - i.e. not sold with a unit. If your battery came with your light in the kit, the only serial for this will be on the box or light itself.
