The AK-R21 Projection kit is designed for use with round-head flashes, such as the PixaPro GIO1 Speedlite (Godox V1 Speedlite), the CITI100Pro (Godox AD100Pro), and the PIKA200 & PIKA200Pro with the H200R Round-Head flash accessory. It can also be used with traditional speedlites with the addition of the AK-R25 adapter ring (sold separately). Roundhead and Traditional Speedlites

The AK-R21 Projection Attachment Kit comes with the AK-R28 Round-Head Adapter, enabling it to be mounted on any of the round-head flashes / LED lights, such as the PixaPro GIO1 / Godox V1 Speedlites, The PixaPro CITI100Pro / Godox AD100Pro, the PixaPro PIKA200/200Pro / Godox AD200/200Pro with the H200R Round Head. There is also the AK-R25 adapter available that enables it to be used together with speedlites with a traditional Fresnel head (sold separately).

Preview and Adjust Your Projections

The Godox AK-R21 Projection Attachment Kit, features a 360° rotatable mount, allowing you to adjust the angle of the projection to your liking. The mounting ring is with degree numbers, which gives you a measurable guide to adjust the angle of the projection precisely.  You can either use your flash’s built-in modelling light or use the stroboscopic flash mode to preview your projections.

Interchangeable Lens Optics

The Godox AK-R21 come equipped with the AK-R27 65mm Lens optic, which comes mounted to the front of the Projection Attachment, which enables you to focus or de-focus the light to produce softer or crisper projections, depending on the type of look you are trying to achieve. There is also an 85mm optic (AK-R23) and a 50mm Lens optic (AK-R24) available too (sold separately)

* For better results, we recommend zooming your flash heats focal length above 80mm (if possible).

Hold It and Hide It

The Godox AK-R21 Kit features the universal industry-standard 1/4”-20 thread, enabling it to be directly mounted to virtually any light standout or other studio grip accessory. Placing the projector directly onto a light stand with a 1/4” thread will enable the projector to face perpendicular to the stand. It can be mounted to a tilt-bracket if you need the ability to angle the projector (sold Separately).

PLEASE NOTE: We do not recommend using the AK-R21 Projector with the Godox LC30S and LC30Bi LED lights, as the built-up heat may cause the slide to melt.
