The ATOMOS Shinobi 7" 4K HDMI/SDI Monitor is a professional and versatile monitor which combines lightweight monitor-only functionality with a large 7" HDR screen calibrated peak brightness of 2200nits. It supports both HDMI 2.0 for 4Kp60 and 3G-SDI for up to 2Kp60 as well as provides a number of useful tools such as 3D LUT support, AtomHDR for Log to HDR conversion, and touchscreen camera control via an optional cable.

Big and Bright Display

This monitor offers a 7” HDR screen that can easily be used in the brightest of environments due to its peak brightness of 2,200 Nits, which is ideal for monitoring signals of up to 4Kp60 via HDMI for cinematography directors and content creators.

Seamless Camera Control

Camera functionality can be controlled using the intuitive touchscreen to provide easy and quick access to the most crucial camera features. When used with the optional Atomos USB-C to Serial cable, this provides direct control of all menu configurations on Z Cam E2 series cameras to make sure the perfect shot is captured.

HDR On The Go

The combination of the unique HDR monitoring features and a stunning 10+ stops of dynamic range in real-time from Log/PQ/HLG signals, this monitor helps to simplify any difficulties that may occur with shooting both Log and HDR.

Built-in 3D LUT Box

Along with the Log to HDR conversions, custom LUTs can also be used to feed either downstream or live feed. Up to 8 unique LUTs can be uploaded at a time using the SD Card Slot and can be instantly selected to provide creativity at all times.

AtomOS 10 Platform

The Shinobi Monitor features the AtomOS 10 platform which is full of professional quality functionality and simple operations. Included in the AtomOS 10 are monitoring tools for focus, framing & exposure such as Focus Peaking, 4:1 / 2:1 / 1:1 Zoom in, Cine and social frame guides.

Analysis Mode

This feature offers a visual representation of a waveform, histogram and vectorscope simultaneously with real-time monitoring to ensure complete control over the result. These can also be switched between with ease to accurately choose the correct option.

Multiple Power Options

The Shinobi Monitor is designed to be used with battery power and features two separate battery slots for all-day shoots with battery hot-swap. It also features a dedicated locking DC jack input to allow for use with mains power and can also be used with block batteries with the optional DC to D-Tap cable.

HDMI/SDI Conversion

As the Shinobi 7 offers both HDMI and SDI input or output, it allows it to be used on any production without issue. It features both built-in cross-conversion and 4K to HD down conversion, to allow for HDMI cameras to be used in SDI workflows without additional converters.

Screen Calibration

The monitor is calibrated straight from the factory for Rec.709, but also supports user calibration with X-Rite’s i1DisplayPro/Plus and free Atomos Calibration software, in order to automate the screen calibration to display the accurate HDR and Rec. 709 monitoring.
