The SS11G Honeycomb Grid is designed for use with the SS11 1'X1' Softbox for the GODOX RS60R, RS60Bi, KNOWLED MS60R, and MS60Bi. It restricts the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas of your set that you don’t want the light to hit, such as on your background, etc, whilst also producing lighting with more contrast. It can also reduce the likelihood of getting lens flare if the light is pointed toward the camera. The SS1G Honeycomb Grid is ideal for Cinematographers, DPs, Gaffers and Independent filmmakers who are looking for a soft, even quality of light from their MS60 or Knowled MS Series lights.
This Honeycomb Grid (sometimes known as an Egg-Crate) attaches the inner rim of your KNOWLED SS1 softbox using a hook-and-loop fastening system. It restricts the spread of light, preventing light from spilling onto areas of the set where you don’t want the light to fall, such as in the background when you are shooting a low-key image.
This Honeycomb Grid for the Godox KNOWLED SS1 Softbox also reduces the likelihood of getting lens flare in your image if your softbox is pointed toward the camera (note: will not prevent lens flare if the light source is pointed directly at the camera).
