The Godox ML60 is an 60W 5600K daylight-balanced super-compact and silent LED Video Light, which uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology. It produces 60watts of raw power, whilst being small enough to throw into your camera bag. The ML60 is suitable for professional broadcast use, cinematography, video interviews and YouTubing. It is also suitable for stills photography, including portraits and products etc.
Uses the Latest in COB LED Technology
The ML60 portable LED video light uses a 5600K Daylight-Balanced 60W COB (Chip on Board) LED chip, which has a light output of 13,000 LUX at 1m. This light is equivalent to the brightness of a traditional 600W tungsten light.
Impeccable Colour Accuracy
The ML60 LED video light has a super-high CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of ≥96 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of ≥97 for accurate colour reproduction. This means that the ML60 super-compact LED light is suitable for Professional Broadcast use as well as for Film-Making and Commercial Cinematography.
Shoot at Virtually Any Framerate
The integrated COB LED chip is also Flicker-Free, meaning you can shoot at virtually any framerate, or any shutter angle without fear of introducing flicker into your footage.
Easy to Use Interface
The Godox ML60 silent LED light features a user, with an LCD screen, and an intuitive control dial interface. The Controller box enables you to control the brightness of the light steplessly, between 100% down to 0% brightness.
Wireless Control Option
The Godox ML60 can be controlled by the optional RC-A6 wireless radio remote control (not included). This enables you to remotely control the brightness of the light. You have a choice of 32 channels, 16 groups (for controlling individuals or groups of lights together) and 99 IDs, which is ideal if you are shooting in the same location as others using the same lights.
Multiple Power Options
The Godox ML60 super-compact LED light can be powered by either the included mains power adapter or via 2x NP-F Series (Sony L-Series) batteries using the included battery plate (Batteries are not included). This allows them to be plugged in when you have access to mains power or be powered by batteries where mains-power access is not available.
Ultra-Quiet Fan
It also features a new Built-In Super-Quiet Electronic Fan, making it is the best portable lighting for video in a situation where minimal background noise is critical, such as video interviews etc.
Built-In SFX Lighting Modes
The Godox ML60 features 8x built-in lighting effect presets, which enable you to simulate a selection of lighting scenarios, such as lightning storms, a TV, broken bulb, paparazzi etc. adding more creative possibilities to your cinematography.
Compatible with a Wide Range of Modifiers
The ML60 portable LED video light is compatible with all GODOX-Mount modifiers straight out of the box, allowing it to be used with GODOX’s range of super-compact modifiers. It can also be coupled with the Round-Head Smart Bracket, which gives you access to the wide range of Bowens S-Type modifiers straight out of the box, which gives you the option to shape and modify the light to suit your needs. It can be used with a plethora of different modifiers, including, Softboxes, Beauty Dishes, Fresnel lenses etc.
The GODOX ML60 compact LED light is a powerful yet super-compact lighting solution for both the hobbyist and the serious photographer, videographer, or cinematographer. This is the best portable led video light which is ideal for: Filmmaking, Marketing and advertising, Video Interviews, Green screen video, as well as portrait and Still-life Photography.
NOTE: Please be aware when using the high-powered LED COB chips although these will produce little heat, you will need to ensure sufficient airflow when using a modifier to avoid causing damage to the light or modifier.
NOTE: Since June 2021, some GODOX lights no longer come with a Remote Control, due to Chip shortages. If you need one, they can be purchased separately here.
