The GODOX KNOWLED GR15 15-Degree G-Mount Photo Studio Reflector is designed for use with the GODOX MG1200Bi and MG2400BiLED Cine Light. Thanks to its narrow beam angle of 15°, it throws light over long distances, ideal for illuminating a small area of a large set. Unlike using a Standard Spill-Kill reflector with a 15° honeycomb grid, (which absorbs some of the light), this long-focus reflector uses a combination of its long, narrow parabolic shape, and its HighlyReflective faceted silver interior to focus the light, increasing its effective light output and reach. The KNOWLED GR15 Photo Studio Reflector is great for large film, television, and theatrical productions.
Narrow Light Beam Without a Grid
If you have ever needed a narrow beam of light previously, you would generally use a standard reflector in conjunction with a honeycomb grid. The disadvantage of using a grid is that you lose a bit of light, compared to using the reflector by itself. The Godox 15° Reflector naturally produces a narrow beam of light, which negates the need for a grid, so you don’t have to worry about losing any light output.

The Godox GR15 Photo Studio Reflector uses the new Godox G-Mount, which provides a larger, and more durable connection compared to the standard Bowens S-Type mount. It also features electronic contacts, which lets the light what modifier is being connected to it. This enables the light to intelligently compensate for any slight colour shifts caused by the modifier, for consistent lighting no matter what modifier is being used.
Part of the KNOWLED MG Range, the GR15 like the MG LEDs has an IP54 Weather Rating, and has been tested in conditions as low as -30°C to give you the confidence that you can shoot in extreme locations and conditions.
