The metal background reflector creates a gradated pool of light behind your subject, without worrying about the light spilling onto your subject.
The metal background reflector comprises a highly reflective interior which helps to bounce the light around for maximum light efficiency, with black exterior material to reduce light spill. 
It is fully rotatable to allow for added control with the direction of the light, this means that you can control how the gradient falls on the background.
The silver reflector is cut to about 45 degrees and features two fitted spring clips to enable you to easily attach coloured gels to change the mood of your lighting. This adds many different shooting possibilities with your light (gels not included).
