The PixaPro Adjustable Camera Mounting Bracket enables you to mount a DSLR, Mirrorless Camera, Bridge Camera or Small Camcorder to a standard light stand, boom arm or other Studio Grip Accessories with a 5/8-inch (16mm) stud connection. This makes it possible to mount your camera in certain places that are not possible with a regular tripod, as light stands can typically go higher (Please ensure the stand you are using is capable of taking the weight of your camera and lens combination).
Mount Your Camera More Securely
Although many lights stands also feature a 1/4”-20 tripod thread, we do not recommend mounting your camera directly to it, as your camera will only be supported by a very small surface area, making it not very secure. The camera mount bracket features a rubberised grip surface with a larger surface area, enabling it to grip your camera more securely
