The Godox VL300 300W LED Continuous Light for Photography is a compact 300W 5600K daylight-balanced Monolight-Styled mains-powered COB LED light video, which uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology. The VL300 is suitable for professional broadcast use, cinematography, video interviews and YouTubing. It is also suitable for stills photography, including portraits and products etc.
The VL300 LED Light Video uses a 5600K daylight-balanced 300W COB (Chip on Board) LED chip, which has a light output of 77,000 LUX at 1m, which is equivalent to the brightness of a traditional 3,000W tungsten light.
The Godox VL300 300W LED Continuous Light for Photography has a super-high CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of ≥96 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of ≥95 for accurate colour reproduction. This means that the VL300 is suitable for Professional Broadcast use as well as for Film-Making and Commercial Cinematography.
The integrated COB LED chip is also Flicker-Free, meaning you can shoot at virtually any framerate, or any shutter angle without fear of introducing flicker into your footage.
The VL300 includes a controller box, with an LCD screen, and an intuitive control dial interface. The Controller box enables you to control the brightness of the light steplessly, between 100% down to 0% brightness.
The VL300 LED Continuous Light for Photography can be controlled via a wireless radio remote control (sold separately), enabling you to control the light remotely. It also features Bluetooth, enabling you to control the light via the GODOX app which is available for free on the App Store on iOS, and the Google Play Store on Android.
It also features a new Built-In Super-Quiet Electronic Fan which is very quiet, even when the VL300 is being used at its full power during extended shoots, making it suitable for any filming application.
The VL300 LED Continuous Light for Photography includes dual V-Mount battery plates, which enables it to be powered by two V-Mount batteries. This enables it to be used in locations where mains power is not readily available. Great for using on location whilst travelling.
The VL300 uses the popular Bowens S-Type mount, making it compatible with a wide range of modifiers straight out of the box, which gives you the option to shape and modify the light to suit your needs. It can be used with a plethora of different modifiers, including, Softboxes, Beauty Dishes, Fresnel lenses etc.

NOTE: Please be aware when using the high-powered LED COB chips although these will produce little heat, you will need to ensure sufficient airflow when using a modifier to avoid causing damage to the light or modifier.
