The PixaPro Fast-Paced Studio Photography Lighting Stand Kit consists of a selection of light stands that have been designed to be used in a busy studio environment and allow for quick placement adjustment. Both the 240cm and 300cm studio light stands feature a unique retracting leg feature that automatically lifts the legs around the central column when picked up to reduce space. The 2in1 boom stand with caster wheels allows you to position your lighting in many different locations and move this around the studio space with ease.
Self-Collapsing Legs: The legs open up automatically, when you place the stand on the ground, and the legs automatically close when picked up. This makes it quick and easy to move safely and easily through crowded environments.
Interchangeable Spigot: comes with the most popular universal 1/4" and 3/8” thread, which makes it easy to use with other units up to 7kg.
3-Tier Extension: making it collapsible to a height of 122cm and fully extend to 300cm.
Air-Cushioned Dampening System: this helps to prevent any sudden drops to minimise the risk of damage to your equipment or causing injury to yourself.
Thick Sturdy Central column: can be lowered down to be used as a fourth leg, offering extra stability.

Regular Light Stand and Boom Stand in One – The 2in1 Boom stand features a special hinged joint, which allows the top two sections of the stand to come out from the main central column and be converted into a boom stand. This enables you to position your lights from above your subject, without the central column of the stand getting in the way. Perfect for Butterfly or clamshell lighting. When the boom is not required, simply insert the boom back into the central column to use it as a regular light stand.
4-Sectioned Telescopic Design – 2in1 Boom stand features a three-tiered, three-sectioned design, which enables it to have a maximum height of 400cm (Approx. 13’) when used as a regular stand, and a minimum height of 120cm (Approx. 47”).
Wide Footprint Diameter – The 2in1 Boom stand has a footprint diameter of 120cm, giving it a good amount of stability, great for use with studio lighting, and with medium-sized modifiers.
Max. Load Capacity – The stand has a maximum load capacity of approximately 5kg, making it more than capable of holding medium-sized to large studio lights with large modifiers.
Aluminium Construction – The 2in1 Boom stand is made from aluminium, making it strong, yet lightweight. Perfect for photographers or cinematographers who are always on the move.
Sandbag – this stand comes with a sandbag, which can be clipped to the boom section of the stand, to counterbalance the weight on the opposite side, and to prevent the stand from tipping over. When you are not using the stand as a boom, you can also add it to the base of the stand, for added stability.
Cast-Iron Construction –The connector block section of the caster wheels are made from Cast Iron, making them extremely hard-wearing and durable.
Rubber Wheels – Each of the 75mm wheels themselves, is made from a hard-wearing rubber material, which prevents the stand from skidding. The wheels are suitable for use on both carpet, and hard floors, making them highly versatile.
